Billing and invoices
How pricing works, top-ups, invoices, VAT, auto-renew and refunds.
- How pricing works: GB, IPs and creditsThree units, one rule: rotating proxies are billed per GB, static proxies per IP for a period, scraping APIs in credits per successful request. Failed and blocked requests are never charged.
- Add funds and set up auto top-upYour account has one balance, shown in the top bar. You fill it under Settings → Deposits with a card; purchases and renewals are then taken from it. Auto top-up keeps a proxy plan or your API credits from running dry in the middle of a job; it is off until you switch it on.
- Download an invoiceEvery payment has a PDF under Settings → Invoices: find the row and click Invoice. The same PDF is attached to the payment confirmation email.
- Add your VAT number and company details to invoicesFill in Settings → Personal → Billing Details once, before your next payment; every invoice from then on carries your company name, address and VAT number, and VAT is calculated for your country and status.
- Auto-renew: how it works and how to cancelISP and datacenter plans and monthly scraping API plans renew automatically unless you switch renewal off on the plan. Renewals are taken from your account balance, you get an email 7, 3 and 1 days before each charge, and switching renewal off never ends the period you already paid for.
- Refunds and the 24-hour ruleBusiness customers can ask for a refund within 24 hours of a purchase that is still almost unused; consumers have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on top. Failed and blocked requests are never charged, so they never need a refund.
